Arrive in Nairobi International Airport

Morning: Upon your arrival at Nairobi International Airport (NBO), our friendly team will be there to warmly welcome you. We'll ensure a seamless transition from the airport to your first destination, the renowned Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Fund, where you'll have the incredible opportunity to spend quality time with majestic elephants. Witness their beauty, grace, and the dedicated conservation efforts to protect these magnificent creatures.
After this experience you will be transferred to the beautiful Karen Gables Hotel for rest and relaxation.

Optional afternoon activity:
Drive to the Giraffe Centre which is a breeding Centre for the rare Roth’s Child. Giraffes, here you will get a chance to pet and hand feed the world’s tallest mammal, the Giraffe.

Nairobi to Lolldaiga Hills - The Safari Series

After breakfast, you'll embark on your journey to The Safari Series in Lolldaiga Hills.

• The drive is around 3.5 hrs.

• Upon arriving at The Safari Series, you'll check in to your intimate tented camp within the private conservancy away from the crowds of southern Kenya.

• The Safari Series offers an owner-managed experience, and it's located deep in the bush, providing stunning views of the snow-capped Mount Kenya. The camp overlooks a popular watering hole, allowing you to enjoy wildlife sightings from the comfort of the camp.

• During your stay, you'll have the opportunity to engage in various activities such as guided walks, game drives, climbing, and cultural experiences with Maasai elders. This will give you a well-rounded understanding of the local wildlife and culture.

• In the evenings, you'll return to camp in specially converted safari vehicles for delicious meals and relaxation under the canvas roof.

Fly to Masai Mara

Today you say goodbye to your friends at Safari Series and after a 30 min drive you will arrive in Nanuyki Airstrip where you will fly directly to the Masai Mara and land in your next hotel's airstrip.

This luxurious camp has a fabulous location, in lush riverine forest bordering sprawling plains. A track leads you through the trees to the communal buildings. Each has a thatched roof and is very elegant in its design. The lounge contains loads of comfortable chairs and sofas positioned around coffee tables. It also has a long bar and plenty of bar stools, while just outside there is a deck equipped with further comfy seating – this is the perfect place for relaxing and taking in amazing vistas across the plains! 

You will spend 3 nights in this all inclusive camp located inside the exclusive Mara Triangle Private Conservancy.

andBeyond Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp

From our luxurious base camp you will explore the Mara Triangle with twice daily safari drives, happy hours, bush dinners and lots of other surprises. We expect to see amazing wildlife in a more intimate and private setting. There will be possible sightings of the elusive Black Rhino.

Optional activities: Hot Air Balloon sunrise rides with champagne breakfast, massages, facials.

Masai Mara National Park

Full day to explore the Masai Mara plains from our amazing base camp at andBeyond Kichwa Tembo with two games drives per day. We expect to see herds of zebra along with lions, cheetahs, hyenas, elephants, giraffes and leopards to name a few. We will scan the river for crocs and hippos.

Most safari goers consider this time of the year the best in the Masai Mara as it falls within the dry season, the grass is shorter making it easier to spot animals. In addition it is less crowded making it a great time to go on game drives.

At camp we will relax and play.

Today you will depart camp and fly back to Nairobi's domestic airport from the hotel's airstrip. You will be able to fly tonight as international flights depart after 7 pm. Depending on your flight you will be transferred directly to the airport or you can opt to book an airport hotel for a few hours.
