Itinerary
Day 1 - June 21th, 2025

Recover from your long haul trip and enjoy a relaxing day in the spa of your 5-star hotel. The Intercontinental hotel is only a 1 min walk from the international arrivals terminal at JNB airport.

Day 2 - July 22nd, 2025

Upon your arrival at Maun Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and escorted to your private charter plane. After a short flight, you will arrive in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Settle into our comfortable, glamping-style tents and prepare for an exhilarating afternoon. Your adventure begins with a game drive across the expansive floodplains, a perfect introduction to one of the world’s most pristine safari environments.

As the sun begins to set, you will celebrate the day's discoveries with champagne and sundowner cocktails, enjoyed in a dramatic and breathtaking setting.

You will spend three nights glamping at Bodumatau, a sought-after location renowned for its pristine wilderness and exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities. This setting promises a memorable and exclusive safari experience in one of the most spectacular areas of the Okavango Delta.

Day 3, 4 - July 23rd - 24th, 2025

Bodumatau, Okavango Delta

For the next two days you will continue to explore the Okavango Delta from an exceptional base camp, supported by an extraordinary team. Our skilled kitchen crew and bartenders are ready to enhance your experience by crafting exquisite cocktails and serving fine wines right in the heart of the Kalahari.

Bodumatau is a remarkable place, teeming with unique wildlife and untouched beauty. This special haven offers the rare opportunity to encounter a wide array of wildlife, including majestic lions, hyenas, giraffes, cheetahs, elephants, and zebras, as well as fascinating bird species. What sets this experience apart is the privilege of witnessing nature in its purest form, free from the disturbances of crowds or extensive human impact.

You will spend two more nights glamping at Bodumatau.

Day 5 - July 25th, 2025

Transfer from Bodamatau to Xini Lagoon

Today, you'll travel to the lesser-visited Xini Lagoon area in the southern part of Moremi Game Reserve. Xini Lagoon is renowned for its charm and exceptional wildlife encounters, particularly as a prime location for spotting the majestic cheetah.

This hidden gem offers a two-day glamping experience in a secluded corner of the Okavango Delta. Settle into your comfortable surroundings and enjoy the fully stocked bar and indulgent three-course meals under a mesmerizing starry canopy. This setting not only promises remarkable dining but also unforgettable wildlife sightings, making it a haven for nature enthusiasts.

Day 6 - July 26th, 2025

Xini Lagoon

Your exploration of the Xini Lagoon area will focus on discovering predators and other wildlife that make this part of the Okavango Delta extraordinary.

 

You will embark on twice-daily game drives, equipped with fridges stocked with refreshments including beer, champagne, and tasty snacks. This enchanting environment offers you the opportunity to track predators and immerse yourself in one of the most pristine wilderness areas on the planet, where each day is as thrilling as the first.

 

In the evenings, you'll return to camp to gather around a crackling fire. There, you'll share stories and create lasting memories under the star-studded African sky.

Day 7 - July 27th, 2025

From Xini Lagoon to Mboma Island

After a short game drive you will arrive at a boat station where a double-decker boat will take you through the labyrinthine waterways of the Okavango, allowing you to spot an array of remarkable wildlife along the way. Keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles, hippos, lechwe, sitatunga, and those charming spotted-neck otters, to name just a few.

 

As you leisurely traverse these channels, sipping on refreshing G&Ts and marveling at the abundant wildlife, your journey will culminate as you reach: Mboma Island.

Day 8 - July 28th, 2025

Glamping at Moremi Game Reserve - Mboma Island

Today promises a full day of adventure as you embark on a thrilling journey through the heart of the Okavango Delta aboard a speedy and agile speedboat. Navigating through winding channels and picturesque lagoons, we'll greet the resident hippos, elephants and crocodiles as we search for the perfect island setting to enjoy a delightful picnic lunch.

In the afternoon, the exploration continues, and as the day winds down, we'll anchor our bar right in the midst of the lagoon for a special and enchanting happy hour. As the sun gracefully descends, its golden hues beautifully paint the water, surrounding foliage, and the incredible array of wildlife that call this magnificent delta home.

Day 9 - July 29th, 2025

Fly from Maun, Botswana to Capetown, South Africa

After a morning game drive to the airstrip you will take a chartered flight from the Okavango to Maun where you will arrive in time for your international flight back to South Africa.

Arrive in Capetown International Airport (CPT).


Airport transfer and check-in at the exclusive Mount Nelson Belmond Hotel and Spa.

 

The hotel is only a 2 min walk from the world class cuisine of Capetown.

Day 10 - July 30th, 2025

Mount Nelson Belmond Hotel - Boulders Beach

Wake up at the Mount Nelson Belmond Hotel and perhaps start your day with an optional early morning spa session to relax and rejuvenate. After breakfast, prepare for a late morning departure to Boulders Beach, where you can kayak and see the charming local penguin colony up close.

Following your visit to Boulders Beach, you’ll head back to Cape Town via a scenic route that offers stunning views of the area's coastal landscapes. Next on the agenda is a trip up Table Mountain via cable car.

Return to the hotel for some downtime to relax after your adventures. In the evening, dinner will be at the amazing Fyn Restaurant.

Day 11 - July 31st, 2025

Wine country extravangaza

Today you'll depart for a day of indulgent wine experiences. Your first stop is De Toren Private Cellar, a winery that stands out for its commitment to crafting Bordeaux-style wines with precision and care. The iconic wine you'll have the pleasure of tasting is "Fusion V," one of their flagship Bordeaux-style blends, celebrated for its elegance and complexity. The Icon Tour Tasting at De Toren provides a rare opportunity to explore the winery's facilities and sample their exceptional wines.

After a few hours at De Toren, you'll be transported to Delaire Graff Restaurant, a place of exceptional beauty and elegance. Delaire Graff is renowned not only for its wines but also for its stunning views of the surrounding vineyards and mountains. You can expect to be enchanted by the picturesque scenery while enjoying an al fresco lunch paired with their premium wines. Delaire Graff's most famous premium wines include their Delaire Graff Estate Chardonnay and their Laurence Graff Reserve, which are both celebrated for their quality and elegance.

 

After this delightful lunch, you'll be transported to your next hotel, the beautiful and classic Leeu Estate in Franschhoek for your final two nights, where you can unwind in a charming and sophisticated setting.

Day 12 - August 1st, 2025

Explore the wine country

Today is a grand and indulgent day as you board the renowned Orange Wine Tram, a delightful way to explore some of South Africa's most celebrated wineries.

 

Next, you'll visit Babylonstoren, a destination known for its exceptional gardens. What makes it special is the meticulously designed and beautifully maintained gardens that offer an incredible sensory experience. The garden-to-table dining experience is a true highlight. Lunch here will be a feast for the senses as you savor dishes prepared with ingredients freshly picked from the gardens.

 

After Babylonstoren, you'll continue your wine journey to Vrede en Lust, renowned for its top-quality Pinotage, particularly the Boet Erasmus. The Pinotage grape is South Africa's signature red variety.

 

In the evening, indulge in a culinary experience at one of the best restaurants in the area, La Petite Colombe. This restaurant offers a sophisticated and creative tasting menu that combines South African and international flavors.

Day 13 - August 2nd, 2025

Fly back home or extension to Victoria Falls

On your final day, take the opportunity to relax and rejuvenate with a morning at the spa. Check out of Leeu Estate. Since international flights from Cape Town depart after 7 PM, you will be transported to the airport in the late afternoon, ensuring a smooth and stress-free journey back home.

If your thirst for adventure remains unquenched, consider a 2-day extension to the spectacular Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. This majestic wonder, often described as the thundering smoke that thunders, offers a dramatic backdrop for further exploration and unforgettable experiences. Please inquire for details.
