Check-in: Atix Hotel
Atix Hotel is one of La Paz’s most sophisticated boutique properties—modern, sleek, and proudly Bolivian. Designed by acclaimed architect Rafael Viñoly and featuring original artwork by Gastón Ugalde.

Depending on your arrival time, an optional dinner reservation has been arranged at Gustu, one of Latin America's most celebrated restaurants, known for its innovative tasting menus using only Bolivian ingredients.

Take the evening to rest and acclimate to the altitude (La Paz sits at over 3,600 meters above sea level).

Overnight: Atix Hotel, La Paz – Bed and Breakfast

Day 2 - April 23rd, 2025

Explore La Paz & Culinary Experience

After breakfast, you'll embark on a 3-hour private city tour, featuring La Paz's most iconic sights and neighborhoods. You'll ride the colorful Mi Teleférico cable car system, the highest urban cable car network in the world, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city nestled in a dramatic canyon. Along the way, explore vibrant street art, visit local markets, and perhaps do a bit of shopping for textiles or handmade goods.

For lunch, you're in for something truly special: a surprise executive lunch set in a dramatic, architecturally striking venue. This multi-course tasting menu is paired with Bolivia’s finest wines—an emerging but impressive scene. Expect expressions of high-altitude viticulture: Torrontés and Muscat of Alexandria with crisp minerality and floral aromatics, and Tannat and Syrah that surprise with their elegance and depth due to extreme growing altitudes (over 1,700 meters), producing low-yield, high-quality grapes. Sommeliers will guide you through the pairings, offering a deeper understanding of Bolivia’s unique terroir.

Overnight: Atix Hotel, La Paz – Bed and Breakfast

Day 3 - April 24th, 2025

Journey to Lake Titicaca & Isla del Sol

Today begins with an early private transfer (approximately 4 hours) from La Paz to the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world and a place of deep spiritual and cultural significance for the Andean people. Upon arrival in Copacabana, you’ll board a private boat and set sail across the shimmering waters to Isla del Sol, the mythical birthplace of the Inca civilization.

On the island, you’ll visit the Sacred Rock (La Roca Sagrada), believed to be the site where the sun god Inti created Manco Cápac and Mama Ocllo, the first Inca rulers. Nearby are the Chincana Ruins, a labyrinthine complex that may have served as a ceremonial or pilgrimage site, offering a glimpse into ancient Andean beliefs.

Following the visit, enjoy an authentic Apthapi lunch, a traditional communal meal prepared with local ingredients like potatoes, corn, oca, cheese, and trout, beautifully laid out for sharing, accompanied by herbal teas from native plants.

In the afternoon, a short scenic hike leads you to your accommodation for the night: Ecolodge La Estancia, perched on a terraced hillside with panoramic views of the lake, Cordillera Real, and an unforgettable sunset.

Overnight: Ecolodge La Estancia – Breakfast and Dinner Included

Day 4 - April 25th, 2025

Isla de la Luna & Return to La Paz

Enjoy a relaxed morning with breakfast at Ecolodge La Estancia. After check-out, board your private boat to Isla de la Luna, a sacred island in Inca mythology believed to be the residence of Virgins of the Sun and home to the Temple of the Moon, an archaeological site dedicated to lunar worship and feminine energy.

After your visit, sail back to Copacabana, where your private driver will meet you for the scenic return drive to La Paz (approx. 4 hours).

In the evening, for those seeking a culinary experience, we’ve reserved an optional dinner at Ancestral, one of La Paz’s most celebrated restaurants, offering a modern twist on Bolivia’s indigenous flavors in a sophisticated setting.

Overnight: MET Hotel, La Paz – Bed and Breakfast

Day 5 - April 26th, 2025

Journey to the Uyuni Salt Flats & Airstream Camp Experience

You'll arrive at your exclusive Airstream Campervan Camp, uniquely situated in the heart of the salt flats. Enjoy a gourmet lunch prepared by your private chef, served with panoramic views of the endless white landscape.

The afternoon is filled with guided adventures—explore the flats by 4x4, bike across the shimmering surface, and witness the stunning mirror-like reflections. As the day ends, gather for what is often called the most spectacular sunset on Earth, complete with a curated full bar, delicious food, great music, and the warm company of expert guides.

Departure Day: Uyuni to La Paz and Journey Home

After breakfast, enjoy a final peaceful moment on the salt flats before your transfer to Uyuni Airport for your morning flight back to La Paz.

For those with same-day international connections, we’ll assist you in making your transition as smooth as possible. If you have a long layover or an overnight connection, we can arrange a comfortable hotel, private airport transfers, and even a half-day experience in La Paz to suit your interests—whether it's a spa visit, a private lunch, or some last-minute shopping (at an additional cost)

If you have more time we can help you extend your trip to other parts of Bolivia or venture into Peru.
